A great find. The room was lovely the bed was very comfortable had everything you needed in the room. Lots of hot water and a good shower. With spectacular views of the western side of the Connecticut River and a gorgeous sunset. We will be back we loved it. The staff was also super helpful and courteous.

Very reasonably priced. My husband and I booked two nights and had a king room in the brick set of units off to the right. Very clean with a comfortable bed, huge TV, microwave and mini fridge/w freezer. And that view of the Connecticut River was beautiful. Unit 2, in case You're wondering. Nice breakfast buffet as well, plus friendly staff. Would not hesitate to return.

We are baffled by the recent negative reviews. The manager and his daughter were extremely friendly. I am very sensitive to smoke and often have a problem with non-smoking rooms even in more expensive hotels. However there was no smoke …

My boyfriend and I have utilized this location due to it being closer to his work and let's drive time with enjoyed staying at this inn since October we love our little getaways sometimes one night sometimes we never watch TV we go to take showers baths and sleep and sleep we do their beds and pillows are some of the most I have ever seen. Also if you call to make your reservations they do have rooms that face the river and according to the time of year that could be really pretty but it's very quiet and quaint.

Check in and check out was smooth. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The hot water worked well. Room included a TV, Internet, Mini Fridge, Microwave, Heat and Air Conditioning. It also had a good size desk to sit at and get work done. Charming place at a reasonable rate. I would stay here again.

Perfect! Updated bed, pillows, shower head and towels -all first class. Bedside table has a pull out shelf to accommodate both beds. No road noise, quiet, surrounded by trees and the river. Waffle maker! Fruit! Nice breakfast array. Pleasant staff. Relaxing and comfortable. We will be back.

Sunset Motor Inn is a hidden gem! The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, with great attention to detail. The staff is friendly and helpful, making check-in easy and stress-free. The location is perfect—close to restaurants and attractions, yet quiet and peaceful at night. The beds are super comfy, and the views at sunset are beautiful. It’s the perfect place to relax after a long day of travel. Highly recommend staying here for anyone passing through or looking for a cozy, affordable getaway!

I really loved this place. The room was very clean and I was there for a few days cause I was doing some work at dartmouth college. It's only about two or three miles from the dartmouth campus in that is really cool. The manager was kind person and the caretakers who live on site would answert he door even at the late hour. One of the evenings that I was there we got about 4 inches of snow and the caretakers came out at 10 in the evening, shovel out the cars of the guests That we're staying there.
